When Life Hands You Lemons…Make Shots!

I had a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out). It seems that many people in my circle are on European, namely Italian, get-a-ways. I felt like I was the only one left behind. So what’s a girl to do? I solve a lot of my secret woes by doing one simple thing—I call some special people over and have a little impromptu party.

While running around gathering last minute items I happened upon a lemon liquor, that up until that moment I thought was only sold in Europe. I immediate thought about sharing it with my guests. At the grocery store I found another rare item, lemons from the Amalfi coast! Surely a sign—when life hands you lemons…make shots!

A great self-taught teachable moment I’d say. Don’t get down, get even! Kidding aside, I’d like to say cheers to my travelling friends around the world. May you come home safely to show me all your great pictures and tell me about your travelling tales.
