Unwelcome guest that makes itself at home
A gentle nudge
No effect
It’s weight occupies the empty space
It does not want to be ignored
But unexpected words are spoken
Suddenly the sadness shifts
It exits as quickly as it entered
Replaced by gratitude
A jovial guest with open arms
Stay as long as you wish
