When the Christmas tree is up

When the stockings are hung

When the lights are all a twinkle

And the presents are gently wrapped without a wrinkle

When the first fire is roaring

When the hot chocolate is steaming

And you have spread sincere cheerful greetings

As the snow starts to fall

When it’s all said and done

Stay wrapped in a blanket with your dearest loved one
