This was a passion project (one of many). I wanted to create a journal that reflected not only gratitude but gave space to the thoughts that unsettle or unnerve you because life is not always a basket of roses. Therefore, each page allows you the option to divide your positive and negative thoughts and concerns. As I wrote in the foreword of the journal, I hope for anyone who uses it that they may fill the left column infinitely more than the right column.

Most journals are not printed in colour, but I wanted to make it colourful because I wanted to light up your spirit whenever you reached for it throughout the day, or brighten your mornings, or make you feel at peace before bed.
Inspirational quotes taken from my blogs over the past year are included on the bottom of the page every so often to encourage you to keep going, to inspire you to reflect upon your life, and to hopefully help you reflect on moments and people that have moved you throughout the past forty some odd years.
I was an integral part of the creative process in the making of this journal, which is something I love to do! I meticulously designed the inside. I had a vision for the cover which my designer beautifully brought to life.

More than anything I wanted to ensure this journal gave space to your thoughts, your angst, your wishes, and your dreams. Even if you have never kept a journal or gratitude journal before, it is never too late to start. The gift of healing a journal can give may truly be life changing. Now is the time to write down all those ‘fuck it’ thoughts, get them out of your head and onto a page so you can feel freed. This is our time to express ourselves, to be heard and understood unconditionally, and to finally be healed…
A journal is a wonderful, private, and powerful place to start that healing.
